Breaking News!
When Lord Voldemort is vanquished at Godric's Hollow, the wizarding world erupts into celebration. Much of this celebration is recognized by Muggles and even makes their news. In this assignment, students can choose to write a news article for a Muggle newspaper or make a video for a Muggle news station talking about these strange occurances.
'Owl' To Put Up With the Bird Increase
Citizens all over the Little Whinging have reported a recent influx of the amount of owls seen in the area. Nobody seems to know for sure what has made the owls seen in mass quantities but it does seem to be very amusing to some people. Abigail Efingotn, 56, of Surrey says that she had been seeing owls at all hours of the day, not just night. "It's so strange seeing them in huge flocks not just as night, but also when I have my breakfast tea at 9 am!" she says.
Abigail isn't the only one noticing these owls strange habits, the police are receiving
numerous reports complaining about these owls landing on people cars and front porches leaving many in fear to leave their homes. "I don't know if owls are normally violent but I don't want to take the chance by taking my children outside when there are 4 or more sitting just outside the door. They are quite the nuisance to me and I'm quite annoyed."
No matter your opinion on these owls, it seems like everyone has taken a notice. It is unsure what has caused the recent rise in sightings but authorities say to not approach the owls because it is unknown what diseases these ones are carrying or if they will attack you when approached.
